e-infrastructure Roadmap for Open Science in Agriculture

A bibliometric study

The e-ROSA project seeks to build a shared vision of a future sustainable e-infrastructure for research and education in agriculture in order to promote Open Science in this field and as such contribute to addressing related societal challenges. In order to achieve this goal, e-ROSA’s first objective is to bring together the relevant scientific communities and stakeholders and engage them in the process of coelaboration of an ambitious, practical roadmap that provides the basis for the design and implementation of such an e-infrastructure in the years to come.

This website highlights the results of a bibliometric analysis conducted at a global scale in order to identify key scientists and associated research performing organisations (e.g. public research institutes, universities, Research & Development departments of private companies) that work in the field of agricultural data sources and services. Title

Enhanced Customer Service in On-line and Real Time Logistics Management Environment

en
Abstract

This paper describes a Real-time Service System of On-line Logistics [RSSOL] to enhance customer services using an information technology [IT] as well as a supply chain and e-commerce by using mobile phones(e.g. smart phone, PDA etc.) and web browser, Currently, the Internet Service Provider [ISP] for e-commerce provides the clients with localization of items within station level information [node]. The delivery state provided by station level information is similar to most of countries. Nonetheless, the customers do not only require localization of their items as accurate as possible, but also the status of their logistic items such as how long it takes a time to reach them irrespective of the node places. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a real time service system of the logistics provided by lower level of delivery status to enhance customer service using the novel three-tier architecture using information gathered from the Logistics activities and verify that the system performs their function such as an online status monitoring as well as a real-time localization of their items.
