e-infrastructure Roadmap for Open Science in Agriculture

A bibliometric study

The e-ROSA project seeks to build a shared vision of a future sustainable e-infrastructure for research and education in agriculture in order to promote Open Science in this field and as such contribute to addressing related societal challenges. In order to achieve this goal, e-ROSA’s first objective is to bring together the relevant scientific communities and stakeholders and engage them in the process of coelaboration of an ambitious, practical roadmap that provides the basis for the design and implementation of such an e-infrastructure in the years to come.

This website highlights the results of a bibliometric analysis conducted at a global scale in order to identify key scientists and associated research performing organisations (e.g. public research institutes, universities, Research & Development departments of private companies) that work in the field of agricultural data sources and services. Title

The researches on the application of data warehouse in food supply chain

en
Abstract

The assurance of foodstuff quality and safety is definitely crucial and difficult, since food security accidents threaten peoples' healthy and life in the extreme. Managing transparently and sharing food information favorably by using new technologies and management modes are able to improve food reliability effectively. However, the abundance and diversification of foodstuff, together with the disorder of many producers and suppliers, make food information increase with mass series, which bring about the difficulties of food safety management. From the standpoint of food supply chain management, this paper introduces the refined data organization model and the data warehouse technology, which solves ordinary problems in food supply chain effectually and fleetly, such as massive data storage, decision analysis etc., then brings up the system architecture of data warehouse in food supply chain, and finally builds up the food data model, so as to provide technologies and data supports for information management in food supply chain. It is obvious that to apply data warehouse into the food supply chain is significative and valuable for food industry.
