e-infrastructure Roadmap for Open Science in Agriculture

A bibliometric study

The e-ROSA project seeks to build a shared vision of a future sustainable e-infrastructure for research and education in agriculture in order to promote Open Science in this field and as such contribute to addressing related societal challenges. In order to achieve this goal, e-ROSA’s first objective is to bring together the relevant scientific communities and stakeholders and engage them in the process of coelaboration of an ambitious, practical roadmap that provides the basis for the design and implementation of such an e-infrastructure in the years to come.

This website highlights the results of a bibliometric analysis conducted at a global scale in order to identify key scientists and associated research performing organisations (e.g. public research institutes, universities, Research & Development departments of private companies) that work in the field of agricultural data sources and services. Title

Design and implementation of browser/server-based intelligent decision_support system for farm machinery selection

en
Abstract

Optimize the selection of Agricultural machinery system plays an important role for the run smoothly of agricultural production. To instruct selection of machine for farmers, farms, administrant department of farm machinery, and to shorten the gap of the decision - making level of agricultural machinery between China and developed countries, the Browser/Server-based intelligent decision_support system for farm machinery selection has been designed and developed, refer to the domestic and foreign research results and the actual situation of China. The Browser/Server architecture was used; six major system function modules were included in the system, such as intelligent decision of machine selection, expert decision, expert information browsing, machine information browsing, geographical information input and system maintenance; the overall structure of the system was composed of the integrated components, knowledge base system, database system and model base system. SQL Server 2000 database was selected, the development of Web applications were done based on ASP. NET network theory. The COM technology integrated in Matlab 7.0 was applied to implement selection model. The more scientific selection program was proposed, it can promote normative selection for agricultural machinery and the informatization construction of agricultural machinery selection.
