e-infrastructure Roadmap for Open Science in Agriculture

A bibliometric study

The e-ROSA project seeks to build a shared vision of a future sustainable e-infrastructure for research and education in agriculture in order to promote Open Science in this field and as such contribute to addressing related societal challenges. In order to achieve this goal, e-ROSA’s first objective is to bring together the relevant scientific communities and stakeholders and engage them in the process of coelaboration of an ambitious, practical roadmap that provides the basis for the design and implementation of such an e-infrastructure in the years to come.

This website highlights the results of a bibliometric analysis conducted at a global scale in order to identify key scientists and associated research performing organisations (e.g. public research institutes, universities, Research & Development departments of private companies) that work in the field of agricultural data sources and services. Title

Dynamic Intelligent Agricultural Products Research Information Acquisition and Analysis-A Case Study of Chinese Cabbage

en
Abstract

Inefficiency and lack of agricultural products for an existing information collection technologies to Chinese cabbage, for example, proposed the theory and method of high efficiency, precise dynamic cloud acquisition, while the use of Hadoop cloud computing framework to take MapReduce model, combined with Skyline query technology, build the information sharing platform about marketing of Chinese cabbage that is based on The Internet Of Things. Can achieve Chinese cabbage production's real-time dynamic information collected, timely processing and transmission; rapid analysis of information in Chinese cabbage, storage the analysis results; Chinese cabbage and price forecast information analysis, timely release of results; improve data quality and effectiveness of agricultural information services. To solve the sharp fluctuations in the prices of Chinese cabbage, such as information collection and inefficient release lag, so that scientific and effective decision-making, gradually distributed management to achieve a balance of supply and demand of agricultural macro-management and data storage.
