e-infrastructure Roadmap for Open Science in Agriculture

A bibliometric study

The e-ROSA project seeks to build a shared vision of a future sustainable e-infrastructure for research and education in agriculture in order to promote Open Science in this field and as such contribute to addressing related societal challenges. In order to achieve this goal, e-ROSA’s first objective is to bring together the relevant scientific communities and stakeholders and engage them in the process of coelaboration of an ambitious, practical roadmap that provides the basis for the design and implementation of such an e-infrastructure in the years to come.

This website highlights the results of a bibliometric analysis conducted at a global scale in order to identify key scientists and associated research performing organisations (e.g. public research institutes, universities, Research & Development departments of private companies) that work in the field of agricultural data sources and services. The design and realization of country information service platform based on GIS

en
Abstract

To overcome the problem of simple application mode and low popularization of country information technology-based products, multiple information service platform is established based on the integrated Web technologies such as geographical information, multimedia, virtual reality, and intelligent information interaction etc responding to the actual demands of information service in the New Socialist Countryside Construction. The platform makes use of the advantages of the technologies in information visualization, spatial data analysis, and remote information communication, and mainly solves the issues of new country construction, such as industrial development, social service, and government affairs management etc. Furthermore, the platform also provides a uniform spatial basis platform for all kinds of countryside information, and the basis platform exhibits visually all kinds of information in the forms of tables, graphs, and videos and is suiTable for use and operation analysis by the countryside management departments, corporations, and farms. The platform has been used in Beijing Fangshan. The actual application shows that the platform can accurately reflect country integrative development indexes, afford information services such as management, analysis, interaction, instruction and etc, to effectively promote local New Socialist Countryside Construction.
