The e-ROSA project seeks to build a shared vision of a future sustainable e-infrastructure for research and education in agriculture in order to promote Open Science in this field and as such contribute to addressing related societal challenges. In order to achieve this goal, e-ROSA’s first objective is to bring together the relevant scientific communities and stakeholders and engage them in the process of coelaboration of an ambitious, practical roadmap that provides the basis for the design and implementation of such an e-infrastructure in the years to come.
This website highlights the results of a bibliometric analysis conducted at a global scale in order to identify key scientists and associated research performing organisations (e.g. public research institutes, universities, Research & Development departments of private companies) that work in the field of agricultural data sources and services. Building the new socialist countryside can not be separated with agricultural information. Agricultural information is to improve agricultural productivity, an important means to achieve agricultural modernization as well as to increase the income of the fanners the way and to promote effective way of building China's new countryside. Information is a new study of rural farmers in agricultural science and technology power; informationization agriculture can promote the rural economy and the world economy. However, China's agricultural information begins too late, there are still many problems. Active implementation of agricultural information, building a new socialist countryside required to play the leading role of government departments; to strengthen the agricultural infrastructure of information as well as to set up rural information excellent team and build the model of information nurture agriculture industry; What's more, we should pay more attention to strengthen the information system.
