e-infrastructure Roadmap for Open Science in Agriculture

A bibliometric study

The e-ROSA project seeks to build a shared vision of a future sustainable e-infrastructure for research and education in agriculture in order to promote Open Science in this field and as such contribute to addressing related societal challenges. In order to achieve this goal, e-ROSA’s first objective is to bring together the relevant scientific communities and stakeholders and engage them in the process of coelaboration of an ambitious, practical roadmap that provides the basis for the design and implementation of such an e-infrastructure in the years to come.

This website highlights the results of a bibliometric analysis conducted at a global scale in order to identify key scientists and associated research performing organisations (e.g. public research institutes, universities, Research & Development departments of private companies) that work in the field of agricultural data sources and services. Title

The Crawling and Analysis of Agricultural Products Big Data based on Jsoup

en
Abstract

This paper mainly aims to solve the problem that it is hard to keep a balance between the agricultural production and market, caused by the deficiency of the current circulation of the agricultural products information. We propose and realize a platform that includes the data crawling, information extraction and data analysis of agricultural products big data from Internet. In our system, the data crawling and extraction takes Jsoup, a HTML collector as fundamental technology. According to the website structure, the content is subjected to the analytical process. After correlation analysis and regression analysis, we study on the related factors of price changes, agricultural products market price trends and other issues to get valuable market information available to consumers and help them find cost-effective products. Our work helps to increase the common awareness of agricultural products market, develop agricultural business and boost agricultural e-commerce industries.
