e-infrastructure Roadmap for Open Science in Agriculture

A bibliometric study

The e-ROSA project seeks to build a shared vision of a future sustainable e-infrastructure for research and education in agriculture in order to promote Open Science in this field and as such contribute to addressing related societal challenges. In order to achieve this goal, e-ROSA’s first objective is to bring together the relevant scientific communities and stakeholders and engage them in the process of coelaboration of an ambitious, practical roadmap that provides the basis for the design and implementation of such an e-infrastructure in the years to come.

This website highlights the results of a bibliometric analysis conducted at a global scale in order to identify key scientists and associated research performing organisations (e.g. public research institutes, universities, Research & Development departments of private companies) that work in the field of agricultural data sources and services. Traditional risk management has some limitations which is generally limited within the company, its main aim is compliance management and mostly for financial enterprises or enterprise financial management and financial security. The paper has studied agriculture-related enterprises. By analyzing the key risk factors for enterprise development in the industry chain of the agriculture-related enterprises, the paper proposed specific measures and steps how to build the integrated risk management system in such industry chain. The main point of this paper is that agriculture-related enterprises which based on agricultural products as raw materials need to strengthen the industrial chain risk management initiative to reduce the risk of cost and quality of agricultural products and Meteorological disaster risk and so on. At the same time, the use of information technology (based on "Cloud computing "platform for collaborative risk management and based on the " Internet of Things "real-time risk management platform) makes this risk management can be achieved. The paper has a certain academic innovation based on previous professional theory and research results, such as expanding risk management scope of agriculture-related enterprises to integrated risk management of the whole industry chain, and establishing a new mathematical model. At the same time, the paper has introduced new information technologies such as "cloud computing", "Internet of Things" and other emerging information technologies into the whole industrial chain risk management.
