The e-ROSA project seeks to build a shared vision of a future sustainable e-infrastructure for research and education in agriculture in order to promote Open Science in this field and as such contribute to addressing related societal challenges. In order to achieve this goal, e-ROSA’s first objective is to bring together the relevant scientific communities and stakeholders and engage them in the process of coelaboration of an ambitious, practical roadmap that provides the basis for the design and implementation of such an e-infrastructure in the years to come.

Information Technology Service Management: An Emerging Area for Academic Research and Pedagogical Development
The economic landscape has changed for the industrialized nations of the world. The most mature nations on the planet have transitioned from agriculture and manufacturing economies to service-based economies. Services constitute more than 75% of industrialized nations' economies. These services are dependent on Information & Communication Technology that is supported by local and global information technology functions or the combination of both. In this paper, we review the modem methods and standards of information technology service management, such as ISO/IEC 20000; emerging pedagogical developments; and alternative approaches to ITSM research.
