The e-ROSA project seeks to build a shared vision of a future sustainable e-infrastructure for research and education in agriculture in order to promote Open Science in this field and as such contribute to addressing related societal challenges. In order to achieve this goal, e-ROSA’s first objective is to bring together the relevant scientific communities and stakeholders and engage them in the process of coelaboration of an ambitious, practical roadmap that provides the basis for the design and implementation of such an e-infrastructure in the years to come.
This website highlights the results of a bibliometric analysis conducted at a global scale in order to identify key scientists and associated research performing organisations (e.g. public research institutes, universities, Research & Development departments of private companies) that work in the field of agricultural data sources and services. Excellent Engineer Training Program is an important part of medium and long-term development plan of China's higher education. It is a signal of large-scale engineering education reform, which aims to train a large number of creative engineering and technical talents to meet the needs of China's economic and social development. Agricultural information refers to the nurturing and developing new productivity, represented by intelligent tools, and using it to promote agricultural development. It puts forward higher requirements on training the teaching and practical application ability of applied IT talents in advanced agricultural and forestry colleges. In order to meet the rapid development of industry and business requirements, the information technology major of higher agricultural and forestry colleges has been in continuous exploration and efforts, expecting to find more effective ways and means to train outstanding applied talents in agricultural information.
